So many good memories of Mema as she just accepted all of her granddaughter Christie's friends as her own. She always seemed to enjoy our visits to the lake, keeping up with us throughout college years, marriage, growing families, and more. I wasn't sure she would know me last year, but her eyes lit up and she smiled with recognition when I walked into her room. I know that's how she met Jesus this week... with recognition because she knew Him well. Praying for you all and sorry we cannot make the service this weekend.
