Obituary of Harold Walter Williams

Harold Walter Williams, 90 of  Bedford, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on Monday, April 15, 1929 in Bedford County, a son of the late Hammet Walter Williams and Lizzie Overstreet Williams.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Joyce Hale Williams and his daughter, Vicki W. Musick  

He was a retired from Cundiff Construction & the Rubatex Corporation and was a member of Wilsons United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Dale H. Williams & wife, Penny; his grandchildren, Cody Williams, Scott Martin, Chad Martin, Nicholas Dodson & Jamie Dodson as well as eight great grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Russ Alden officiating.  Interment will follow in Wilsons United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4 until 6 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
