Obituary of Mahlon Elmer Stevens

Mahlon Elmer Stevens, 68 of  Bedford,  passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on Saturday, July 7, 1951 in Bedford County, a son of the late Raymond Edward Stevens and Beulah Bates Stevens. 

He is survived by his wife, Alice Jean Whorley Stevens; his daughter, Tracy Stevens Potter & spouse, Tracy Ann Potter; his step-son, Christopher L. Orange; his brothers, Lewis Stevens, Malcolm Stevens & wife, Penny; Phillips Stevens & wife, Millie; his sister, Judy Hackworth & husband, Ed as well as numerous nieces & nephews.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 2 PM on Monday, November 4, 2019 and a funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Steve Parker officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
