Melanie Tuck Hurley, 41 of Moneta, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her residence.   She was born on Sunday, January 8, 1978 in Roanoke, VA, a daughter of Debra Ramsey Tuck of Moneta and the late Warren Benny Tuck.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Charles David Hurley; her daughter, Peyton Hurley; her son, Paxton Hurley; her brother, Keith B. Tuck & wife, Holly; her sister, Amanda T. Elswick & husband, Curtis; her mother-in-law, Virginia Burchett as well as her nieces & nephews, Christopher & Benjamin Craft, Erica Tuck & fiance, William Kirby, Andrew, Danielle & Sarah Tuck, Cooper & Chloe Elswick.  

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Susan G. Komen 4 a Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 526, Dallas, TX 75244.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Radford Baptist Chapel with Rev. Karl Hofheinz officiating.  Interment will follow in Radford Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Radford Baptist Church.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
