Willie Owen Pagans, 86 of Hardy, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Sunday, May 21, 1933 in Franklin County, a son of the late John Henry Pagans and Tennie Bobbitt Pagans. He was a retired welder and was a U. S. Army veteran. He is survived by daughter, Donna Vaughan; his grandchildren, Samantha Vaughan, Terra Vaughan, Jasen Gillespie; his great-grandchildren, Madison Baker, Aiden Vaughan; son-in-law, Gary Gillespie, numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 with Rev. David Lord officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
