Growing up my sister and I use to go to J.D. and Fayes house to play with Jimmy and Jeanne, and Eric was still a baby in the playpen.
J.D. would go to the store, and whatever snack he bought for his and Fayes children, he also bought to us. I remember talking with Faye a lot and she was always so kind and caring.
Years later I had the privilege to work with Faye at Halmode, and she was still that sweet and kind person that I remembered as when I was a child.
My last memory of talking with Faye wasn't quite as pleasant. It was when her little buddy got hit by a car. I came up the road and saw her standing outside near the road crying. I quickly turned around and went back and it was crushing to see her crying over her little buddy. Faye had a love for people and animals alike, and I know unlike the last time I saw her, she is now smiling and rejoicing with the angels in the presence of Jesus.
Go rest high on that mountain precious friend, and rest now! I know the joy you shared with others has now been made complete, and I know your heart will never hurt or be broken again. Love you, Faye!
To Jimmy, Jeanne, and Eric, you had a precious Mom, and although we don't see one another as years past, I think of you often and will be praying peace and comfort for you all, and your families as only God can give you.
I don't yet understand the loss that you are experiencing, but my heart aches for each of you! I hope you can find strength in the good and precious memories you have with your Mom. Love you guys, and if there's anything our family can do for yours, please don't hesitate to message or call.
