Visiting my parents in Altavista, it was always a highlight when Norris and Betty would come by to visit my parents, John and Ann Tuck.
Norris had an aura that just drew you to him. Always smiling, upbeat and approachable. He would converse with you and he would sincerely listen and give honest feedback.
He and Betty made an impact in a chapter of my life and I will cherish the memories I have of them.
The obit written for Norris hit it on the nail. Absolutely beautiful tribute. RIP Norris.

My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Goode and he was definitely a favorite of mine! I was greeted with a bright smile and good conversation every morning. He was an absolutely wonderful man and he will so dearly be missed.

Norris was one of the sweetest men I have ever met. He always had that 1000 watt smile on his face no matter when you saw him. I always looked forward to seeing and talking with he and Betty when they came into the office. Heaven is definitely alot brighter and happier with angel Norris there now. My condolences to his family and you are in my prayers.

Norris made my high school years at Bedford Baptist Church so much fun from singing with him to youth mission trips. When I worked at the restaurant , he always stopped by to see me. I believe he truly loved people and they knew it. His soul made this world a brighter place and Heaven is now a more joyous place with his presence. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, I will light a candle in his honor on this Holy Day. Love to you

I worked with Norris for several years. He always gave the best as he called it "therapeutic hugs". A great man. I'm blessed and honored to have worked with and call him my friend. He has truly entered heaven with many jewels on his crown! Loved him and my condolences to his family.
