Obituary of Rev. Elmer Worthington Sellers

Rev. Elmer Worthington Sellers, 99 of Moneta, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Carriage Hill Retirement Home. He was born on Sunday, November 28, 1920 in Wilmington, NC, a son of the late James H. Sellers and Katie Danford Sellers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Tiena Siebert Sellers, two sons-in-law, Clayton Turner Richard Greene & a grandson, Aaron Turner. He was a retired minister having served numerous churches in Bedford County. He is survived by his sons, Glenn Sellers & wife, Gail, Raymond Sellers & wife, Janet; daughters, Linda Turner, Gloria Thomas & husband, Bev; his step-sister, Oretha Nevelle, as well as nine grandchildren & twenty-one great grandchildren & one great great grandchild on the way. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Carriage Hill Retirement Home, The V.A. Home Based Primary Care Team and Gentle Shepard Hospice for their love, care and respect for our dad The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Gideon International, P. O.
