Obituary of Anita Collins Martin

Anita Collins Martin, 81 of Moneta, VA passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her home with her husband of almost 63 years at her side. She was born on Monday, February 13, 1939 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Tom Collins and Elline Blackburn Colllins. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Anthony "Tony" F. Serreno and a granddaughter, Allison Martin She was active in the Newcomers at the lake group and enjoyed playing games with her beloved friends. She also not only enjoyed making jewelry for craft shows, but was very talented at creating beautiful items to share with loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Robert Frazier Martin; her son, Robert "Bob" S. Martin & wife, Diane; her daughters, Lisa A. Martin, Karen M. McGlamery & husband, Andrew. She is also survived by her treasured grandchildren, Christopher "Chris" F. Martin & wife, Emily, Robert Nathan Martin, Tyler Truman, Emily Allen, Kellyn McGlamery and her great grandchildren, Alli Martin, Emme Martin and Tristan Truman. Her love and nurturing of her family is her greatest legacy. This is a legacy her family will carry forever in honor of her unconditional love for all she met.
