I have so many fond memories of Macklyn! I grew up in Bethlehem Church and Macklyn was so involved in so much.
In later years, I would visit Bethlehem when I was visiting my family. At my last visit, I was a little late arriving and noticed Macklyn and Calvin at the back of the church on the left. I walked to them and asked if I could join them. Of course they said yes and later Macklyn introduced me when the pastor asked for visitors to stand.
Macklyn and Calvin were such gracious and kind godly people! I will always remember them and their influence in my life.
Rest in peace, dear sweet Macklyn.

To all of the Woodford family,
The girls and I send our deepest sympathies to all of you in the loss of your sweet mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Macklyn was such an example to me of a strong, Christian woman! She continued to give all she could to the members of BUMC till she just couldn't anymore. She was a mentor and a sweet friend and I will miss her!
I know she is so proud of the wonderful family she and Calvin raised together.
