Obituary of Clara Mae Inge Overstreet

Clara Overstreet of Bedford passed away September 21st, 2020 at the age of 76. She was a wife to Jessie Overstreet, a mother to Crystal Overstreet, a Granny to Joseph and Amber Overstreet, Joshua Overstreet and Elizabeth Bryant, as well as her nieces and nephews, a sister to Wayne Inge, Rucker Inge and Sheila Tapia. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed the simple things in life holiday meals when the family would gather and relive their childhood events. She loved her Hummingbirds, flowers and Nascar races. She took pride in her ability to bring smiles by cooking special favorites for everyone. Anyone on the receiving end of one of these treats was most definitely smiling, that those smiles were what she lived for. She also leaves behind sisters in law, Janie Inge and Betty Inge; brother-in-law, Mike Tapia; niece, Nancy Bradley, Mikala Tapia, Samantha Tapia; nephews Michael Inge, Damian Inge, Dane Inge, Cory Tapia and Dustin Tapia; great nieces, Emily Bradley, Mila Tapia; great nephews, Gage Inge, Rylan Tapia and Timber Inge. She will be deeply missed by all. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2 PM with Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
