Glenn Bryan Goad, 63, of Bedford, Virginia passed away on November 20, 2020 at his residence. Glenn was born on April 8, 1957 in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Albert Dennis Goad and Aretta Goad Lynch. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Oscar Goad, Leslie Goad and Milton Goad. He attended Liberty High School prior to embarking on a lengthy career in management at the Cintas Corporation before his retirement. He is survived by his former wife of 22 years and mother of his children, Letishya Goad; his daughters, Megan G. Seiple and husband, Robert of Charlotte, NC, Christy D. Parker of Bedford and son, Travis L. Witt and wife, Shelley of Wytheville. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Delaney Parker, Traegan Parker, Hudson Witt, Oliver Witt, and Gracelyn Seiple as well as his brother, Randy Goad and wife Patricia of Bedford and his long-time friend, Terry Dempsey. Glenn was a devoted father and adoring grandfather. Anyone who spoke to him knew that he was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren. For Glenn, family was the most precious aspect of his life and he was always ready to share their latest accomplishments and stories. He was a political enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, golfing and spending time with family. Glenn aimed to live life to its fullest and could bring life to any room he entered. He was a friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Due to the ongoing public health crisis a celebration of Glenn’s life will take place in the Spring of 2021. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
