Wendy Stephens Gallant, 61 of Evington passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1959 in Annapolis, MD, a daughter of James Mitchell Stephens of Huddleston and the late Shirley Knight Stephens. She was a retired employee of the US Postal Service.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Gary Francis Gallant of Evington; sons, Jeromy David Gallant & significant other, Danielle, Matthew Jacob Gallant & wife, McKenzie, a daughter, Ashley Renae Gallant & significant other, Russ; sisters, Vickie Burr & husband, Jack, Donna Crary & husband, Art, Jackie Tucker & husband, Gary and Lu Ann Stephens; a brother, Mike Stephens & wife, Jo Anne; three grandchildren, Sophia Grace Gallant, Faith Eloise Gallant and Raelynn Joy Gallant.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Pastor Troy Warner officiating. Interment will follow in Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
