Betty Gray Prevette Hayes, 84 of Forest passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born on Wednesday, April 22, 1936 in North Wilkesboro, NC, a daughter of the late Charley Conway Prevette and Lona Viola Queen Prevette. She was also preceded in death by husband, Walter Edgar Hayes.
She is survived by her sister, Kay Ingram of Forest and a brother, Bobby Prevette. A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, VA.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Bedford.
