Obituary of Douglas Nell Krantz

Douglas Nell Krantz, 58 of Bedford passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 26, 1962 in Bedford County, a son of the late Thomas Nelson Krantz and Doris Jean Anderson Krantz. Doug “Fresh” loved his family and was a friend to many. He was a coach, hunter, mechanic, painter, gardener and the list goes on! He could do anything he put his mind to and was a hard worker. He was also the life of the party but his favorite times were spent with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Harris Krantz; his sons, Cory Krantz (Crystal), Cody Krantz (Brittany); his grandsons, Dylan, Nick, Connor and Liam Krantz; a granddaughter, Kenzie Krantz; his brother, Barry Krantz and numerous other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
