Lois Witt Talton, 87 of Bedford passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Noble Senior Living. She was born on Wednesday, June 21, 1933 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Frank Carlton Witt and Evie Johnson Witt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Blair Talton, Sr.
She graduated from nursing school at Danville Memorial Hospital and graduated as a registered Nurse. She worked until 1988. She was a member of Bedford Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, George Franklin Talton, wife, Cindy, Russell Blair Talton, Jr.; her brother, Ollie F. Witt, three sisters as well as several nieces & nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
