Garland Ferrell Hall, 85 of Hurt, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, July 6, 1935 in Lynchburg, a son of the late John Tyler Hall and Maude Dowdy Hall.
He was retired from the Lane Company and also did lawn maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Thacker Hall; his sons, Roger Hall, Joe Hall & wife, Diane; his daughter, Kare Hall; his granddaughter, Amanda Hall as well as his sister, Pauline Lindsey.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Altavista Memorial Park with Randolph Coffey officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
