Daniel “Dan” Shockey, 79, of Moneta, VA; formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seymour & Nellie Shockey; grandchildren, Luke & Eric; four brothers and one sister. Surviving are his wife, Rosalee; children, Rick, Mark, Larry, Sharon, Tina; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond and Boyd Shockey and sister, Alice Shingleton. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
