Obituary of Debra Lynn Snead

Debra Harris Snead of 7315 Bishop Creek Road, Lynch Station, Va. went home to be with God on Saturday, May 1,2021. She was a patient at LGH-MICU suffering from the terrible results of COVID-19. Gathered around her bedside were family, friends and spiritual leaders as the "Angel of Lord" came to take her home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Wilson Hatcher.
She is survived by her husband, David Allen Snead; her son, Danny Lynn Harris, Jr. & wife, Alison of Huddleston; her father, William L. "Willie" Hatcher; her step-daughter, Jennifer Bell & husband, Wesley of Long Island, VA; step-son, David Allen Snead; her brother, Steven D. Hatcher & wife, Jean of Hurt.; her four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many aunts and uncles and a host of friends who loved her.
A funeral service will be held at the Huddleston Church of God of Prophecy in at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 with Rev. Charles Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service at the Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
