To all the Family of Shirley,
I grew up not far from Shirley's parents. My Grandad and Grandmother's house was right across the road. Shirley was our go to nurse at Dr. Tucker's office. I know Daddy and Mother watched Shirley grow up. Shirley I guess took after her Mother in baking. After Grandaddy died Shirley's son bought the home place. There is a long history that is gone but not forgotten. She was strong and very determined with boundless energy. She will surely be missed by everyone. God's blessings to all. Always loved the Goad reunions. Shirley made them special to me with her cucumber, tomato, onion salad’s. We will sorely miss her sweet personality and smile. See you in heaven! Praying for the family that the Holy Spirit will comfort you.

My sincere sympathy to the family. Shirley was such a special person in her field of nursing and also if you got to know her as a friend. Shirley was an unbelievable lady, who raised an amazing family. She expected everyone's best with her fierce love and compassionate heart. She gave me unconditional motherly love that I will never forget. I will miss her and am so grateful that I could love and be loved by her for many years. Her love never failed and will continue even though she is not here. There are just not the words to describe the person she was and what she meant to me and the world. She was a giver of love and life in all sense of the word. Her legacy will never die.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of “Aunt Shirley”. She was always so kind and comforting when I had to go to dads office for a shot or whatever he thought I needed. She also stood by him and our family during difficult times. She was a beautiful and caring nurse. I know she will be greatly missed.

Shirley was a remarkable nurse. She gave me allergy shots for years. I interviewed her when I was in massage school and took pictures of her and her arthritic hands. That she ever was able to do her job was unbelievable. She never complained and was always so sweet. The world is a better place because she was here. She will be dearly missed, but grateful to know we'll see here again.
