Stacey Jean Mitchell, 29 of Bedford passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born on Wednesday, December 25, 1991 in Roanoke, VA, a daughter of Randy Wayne Mitchell and Angela Richardson Mitchell who survive. She was preceded in death by her half-brother, Matt Morris, her grandfathers, Mack Richardson & Gene Richardson.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her half-sisters, Randi Bateman & husband, Jay of Martinsville, Whitney Buckley & husband, Daniel of Ladson, SC; her grandmothers, Betty Richardson, of Bedford, Nina Richardson of Appomattox and Carolyn Richardson of Pamplin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Moneta Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 497, Moneta, VA 24121 or Bedford Fire & Rescue, 1185 Turning Point Road, Bedford, VA 24523
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Morgans Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Randy Krantz officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
