On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, following a brief illness, Kenneth left this earthly home to live in his Heavenly Home. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce, whom he loved and adored. Kenneth was born on August 15, 1934, the son of the late John William and Mamie Estelle Currier Megginson. He is preceded in death by his brother, John William Megginson, Jr. (Billy) and wife Edith, and his sister, Ann and husband Ronnie Hicks. He is survived by his beloved sister Marjorie and her husband Samuel Wesley Trent. In addition, he is survived by his family from Kenya: Philip Kivindu, his wife Stella, and their children Kelvin, Gloria, Enock, and his namesake, Kenneth. He was a lifelong resident of Lynchburg, Virginia. He retired from Schewel Furniture Company, where he made many lasting friendships. Kenneth was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing golf with his longtime best friends, Jim Worley of Oregon (deceased) and T. E. (David) Johnston of Lynchburg.
