Robert Eugene Akin, 89 of Huddleston passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was born October 22, 1932 in Knightstown, IN a son of the late Harlan C. Akin and Louise Lambrecht Akin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ahlbrand Akin and a son, Rory G. Akin.
Survivors include his son, Roger A. Akin; his daughter-in-law, Tamara Akin.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Patmos United Methodist Church and a funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Claire Miller and Rev. Riley Smith officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
