Paul Jack Blevins, 76 of Evington, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, February 12, 1935 in Beeson, WV, a son of the late James Alvin Lee Blevins, Sr. and Mamie Adline Blevins. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Irene Guillian and three brothers, Cecil Belvins, James Blevins, Jr., Doug Blevins. He was a retired maintenance worker with the Princeton, West Virginia Board of Education and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was also a U. S. Army Veteran. Surviving are his sons, Eddie Blevins, Joseph Blevins, Shawn Blevins, all of MD, Brandon Blevins of KY; four sisters, Geraldine Lyle of Rock, WV, Pauline White, Mary Akers, both of Princeton, WV, Geneivie Blevins of Salem; a brother, John Blevins of Galivants Ferry, SC. Mr. Blevins was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
