Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Crouch Yopp

Elizabeth Crouch Yopp passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 65. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ernest Crouch and Ruby Updike Crouch. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Michael Yopp, and their three children: one daughter, Crystal Alther, two sons, Jonathan Yopp and Dallas Yopp. She had four grandchildren: Crystal’s children, Dustin Yopp, Trace Alther, Landon Alther, and one son by Dallas and Tiffany Yopp, their little boy, Bo Yopp. She is also survived by her close family friends who loved her, Teresa Williams, Connie Collins, Lori Christine and her mom, Pauline Christine, Larry Linkous, Connie Lacy, and Delores Price. Other family members are Bonnie Alldredge, Jim Alldredge, David Alldredge, Marshall Cofer, Clyde Cofer, and one step sister-in-law, Sue Jewel and husband, Don. She always loved working in the yard and her hobbies were watching Nascar, she loved that. Also taking care of her family. She was very good at fixing things that broke. She loved everything about her life. She was a wonderful lady and a good mother. We need to remember her by who she was and the way she was with the people she loved and helped. Her favorite cat, Frisky, was rescued by Elizabeth from outside, in the cold. She loved her and took care of her. She took awesome cared of my dad when he was down with his hip. She was special to all of us. Our parents were married 44 years. They loved picking on each other. They were good people and good parents, as well. Rest in peace, Mom. We all love and miss you. Written by Crystal Alther. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Montvale Presbyterian Church Cemetery which is located at 1075 Dewey Road in Montvale. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to help cover funeral expenses.
