Betty Goggin Morgan, 88 of Bedford, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Carriage Hill Retirement Home. She was born on Monday, July 17, 1933 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Harry Snead Goggin and Maude Irene Lazenby Goggin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Wallace Morgan and a brother, Booker Goggin.
She was a member of Wilson United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Morgan (Donna), Ricky Morgan (Glenda); her grandchildren, Jason Morgan (Gretchen), Jennie Farr (Brad), David Morgan, Christopher Morgan (Christina); her great-grandchildren, Madison Morgan, Ayla Farr, Ryan Farr, Cameron Morgan, Declan Morgan, Rowan Morgan and a special niece, Margie Mattox (Jeff).
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Claire Miller officiating. There is no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
