Obituary of Sheila Stone Cutshaw

Sheila Stone Cutshaw of Bedford, lost her battle with Parkinson’s disease on Monday January 3, 2022 at the age of 67 peacefully in her own home. Sheila is survived by her mother Thelma Mayhew; her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Cutshaw; her daughters, Teresa Cutshaw, Kelli (Nik) Harvey; her sister, Donna Caldwell; her brother, Todd (Marci) Stone; her grandchildren, Haley (Jordan) Stinnette, Cameron Goff, Noah Goff, Miranda Harvey, and her great-grandchildren, Brayden Douglas and Harper Stinnette as well as many nieces, a few nephews, many cousins, and three spoiled cats. She is predeceased by her father, Stewart Stone, and her brother, Anthony Stone. Although she leaves us here, we can all find peace in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved Wilson. Sheila was one of a kind with a strong personality; you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth and a laugh you could hear in the next county. She had many special interests, emphasis on the special. She was a trivia master who knew it all, especially serial killers, and horror movies. She also loved the beach, the view from her front porch, and caring for her cat colonies. She was a doting grandmother who loved to embarrass her grandchildren at all costs… Nevertheless, loved us all with her whole heart. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Danny Newman officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Friday evening at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
