Obituary of Elton Tuck Mayhew

Elton Tuck Mayhew, 86 of Moneta, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, February 20, 1935 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Early L. Tuck and Hattie Hines Tuck. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Clifton Mayhew and a daughter, Drema Lynn Mayhew. She was a member of Radford Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn M. Lloyd & husband, Mac, Tina M. Bullin & husband, Bob; her son, Buddy W. Mayhew & wife, Mary; brothers, Jackie Tuck & wife, Ruth, Junior Tuck & wife, LaVonne; her grandchildren, Tony Lloyd (Kelly), Gwendolyn Faw (Travis), Luke Mayhew (Ashley), Crystal Martin (Chris), Cassie Mitchell (Roscoe), Hattie Lowrance (Chris), Alexis Bullin as well as her great-grandchildren, Daniel (MK), Victoria, Samantha, Conner, Carly, Justin, Adelyn, Chandler, Breanna, Sophia, Payton, Levi, Elijah, Sawyer, Amethyst, Sapphire and many nieces & nephews. The family requests that those wishing to make memorials to consider Radford Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 630, Moneta, VA 24121. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Radford Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hofheinz and Pastor Tod Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Radford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Radford Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
