Matthew Dylan Goodman, 30 of Goode, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was born in Bedford, VA on January 28, 1992, a son of Randy Lewis Goodman and Colleen Thompson Goodman. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Timothy Goodman; his Grandpop, Robert H. Thompson; his aunts & uncles, Deborah Goodman, Donna Goodman, Brian Goodman & wife, Kim, Robert “Skip” Thompson, William Thompson, David & Pam Thompson, Cindy & Nick Batholomew, Linda & Romey Thompson; his mother’s fiancé, Steve Phillips as well as fifteen cousins and numerous other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Wayne Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 PM. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
