Obituary of Terri Ann Tuck

Family and friends had to say good bye to a devoted, fun loving, and very special person on January 30, 2022. Terri Ann Tuck was born on September 6, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland to Bonnie Hope and Carroll Dean Strauss. She had a love for all animals, especially horses, the shore, family, cooking, the outdoors, and gardening. Terri was a small business owner for 21 years that was loved by all her employees and clients, whom she even cooked for. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, caring for others and having an open door always welcoming anyone who stopped by.
She is survived by her companion of 21 years, Michael Wayne Tuck; her three sisters, Deborah Lea and husband, Jeffery Milton Leister, Bonnie Lynne Warner, and Melissa Deane Matthews and husband, Troy Ryan Matthews; and a step son, Brandon Morgan Tuck. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces, Tanner Ryan Matthews and his fiancé, Sarah Nicole Perry, Brandon Jeffery Leister, Jennifer Deanne and husband, Ronald Miller, Rebecca Kaye and husband, Duane Allen Mayle, Shannon Lynne Warner, and Angela Paige and husband, Daniel Aaron Coe; sister-in-law, Penny Tuck Berger and husband, William Jeffrey Berger; brother-in-law, Richie Lee Tuck; mother-in-law, Linda F. Tuck; father-in-law, Richard W. Tuck; three nephews, Travis W. Berger, Austin J. Berger and Ryan T. Tuck and one niece, Tamra L. Tuck. She had eleven great nephews and nieces that she was very proud of.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Dean and Bonnie Hope Strauss; brother-in law, Allen Marshall Warner; nephew, Jason Carroll Leister, and aunt, Lillian Patterson Dalton. The world will be a smaller place without her big heart. Terri will be missed by all her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at Updike Funeral Home, 1140 W. Lynchburg-Salem Turnpike, Bedford, Virginia 24523 on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 4 pm for FAMILY ONLY due to Covid precautions.
