Obituary of Katherine "Kitty" E. Walton

Katherine “Kitty” E. Walton, 78, of Colonial Heights, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Walton; her parents, Randolph Davis Eley, Sr. & Mildred Hunter Eley, her brother, Randolph Davis Eley, Jr. & her nephew, Brooke D. Eley. 

Kitty enjoyed volunteering at Flora M. Hill Elementary School & Faith Baptist Church.  She was also a nursery school teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Petersburg.  In her younger years, she loved bowling with her league.  Kitty loved spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Surviving are daughters, Kimberly W. Bosche (Neal) & Angela Walton Smith (Donald); grandchildren, Brian Charles Bosche (Gabrielle), Lauren Kelly Rocco (Michael) & Alyssa K. Smith; great-grandchildren, Bostyn Knox Rocco & Blayke Kamryn Rocco; sister-in-law, Donia Eley; nephew, Hunter Eley; Walton side survivors which include sister-in-law, June Cook; brother-in-law, Wayne Walton; nephews, David Walton, James Walton, Kenneth Walton, John Jones & Billy Rader; nieces, Pat Jones, Mary Koronkowski, Diane Aaby, Pam Pape & their respective families.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Colonial Heights SPCA or the MCV Childrens Fund.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Faith  Baptist Church on W. Roslyn Road, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
