Obituary of George Henry Ashworth

George Henry Ashworth, 74, of Moneta passed away on May 14, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  He was the son of the late John Burrows Ashworth and Alice Dorothea Ebersbach Ashworth.  

He is survived by his wife Diane Louise Haas Ashworth; two sons James C. Ashworth (Lisa) and Todd M. Ashworth (Cindy) and grandchildren; Derek L. Ashworth and Delaney N. Ashworth.  He is also survived by his sister Alice Azzollini (Serge) of NJ, John Ashworth (Barbara) of GA and Jeanne Ashworth of PA and many nieces and nephews.

George was a loving, generous and wonderful man.  He loved spending time with his family and being outdoors.  He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
