Obituary of Larry Wayne Dolan

Larry Wayne Dolan, 66 of  Big Island, passed away on Monday May 30, 2022 at his home with his wife, daughter and son by his side.  Larry was preceded by his parents, Wilbert Wilson Dolan and Sarah Elizabeth Dolan.

Larry enjoyed the outdoors and his hobbies included hunting, fishing, woodworking and listening to classic rock music among many other things.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Kay Dolan; daughter, Sherry Dawn Dolan; son, Larry Wayne Dolan Jr.; two granddaughters, Emily Leanne Dolan and Emma Breanne Dolan; brothers, Ronald Dolan and wife, Portia, Roger Dolan and wife, Diane, Clay Dolan and wife, Janet; sisters, Nancy Kidd and husband, Timothy, Sarah Christine Davis and husband, John along with numerous nieces nephews and extended family.

A special thanks to his brothers in-law, Kyle Davis, John Davis and Barry Davis; sisters-in-law, Patricia Harmon and Patsy Arrington, also mother in-law, Mary M.Davis. The family would also like to thank the many friends who have contributed to Centra Hospice for all the care and support they provided.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 3:30 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 PM at  Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
