Please share a memory of Lois to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lois Jean Hogan Crawford, 89, passed peacefully on June 7, 2022, at The Glebe in Daleville, Virginia following a brief illness. The only child of Frank and Mildred Hogan, Lois Jean was born and raised in Bedford, Virginia. She was married to Roy Marion Crawford of New Castle, VA, who preceded her in death in 2003.

Lois Jean is survived and loved by her only child, Chip Crawford (Tina), of New Castle, Virginia; and her two grandchildren, Heather Cox (Jim), of Sterling, Virginia; and Justin Crawford, of Warren, Vermont. She was blessed to have known and loved her two great-grandchildren, Patrick Cox, and Jacob Cox, both of Sterling, Virginia.

Lois Jean was a homemaker and delighted in sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She was devoted to her family and was primary caregiver to many family members over the years. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent and loving care provided by the Memory Care and Health Services staff at The Glebe, especially during the pandemic. The family is also grateful for the wonderful care of Good Samaritan Hospice of Roanoke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The Virginia Baptist Homes (VBH) Foundation, and designated to The Glebe, her home the past three years.
