Obituary of David Austin Dickerson

David Austin Dickerson, 78 of Huddleston, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Autumn Care of Altavista.  He was born on Saturday, August 28, 1943 in Lynchburg, a son of the late Leonard Gordon Dickerson and Mary Elizabeth Austin Dickerson.  

He was retired from G. E. as a security guard. 

He is survived by his wife, Edna Gay Heptinstall Dickerson; a sister, Sue Tucker; a, brother, Leonard W. Dickerson as well as several nieces & nephews.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Mentow Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Murphy & Rev. Rick Foster officiating.  Interment will follow in Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery.
