Genevieve Honczaryk Sheahan, 93 of Huddleston, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at her residence. She was born on Thursday, May 9, 1918 in Cohoes, NY, a daughter of the late George Honczaryk and Alice Burke Honczaryk. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Claude Raymond Friesner and Walter Albert Sheahan. Surviving is her daughter, Carol Krounse of Huddleston, two step-daughters, Cathy Tatum of Hudson, FL, Nora Day of Bainbridge, NY; a sister, Stella Roemer of Troy Grove, NY; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild. Mrs. Sheahan was transported from Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service to the McVeigh Funeral Home in Albany, Ny where service will be held. Burial will take place in Albany Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
