Obituary of Larry Wayne Abbott

Larry Wayne Abbott, 55 of  Bedford, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1967 in Virginia, a son of Rudolph Abbott and Carol Payne Abbott of Bedford.  

He enjoyed working on computers & electrical work with his Dad, as well as working on cars and playing video games. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Melissa Mayhew & husband, Jody; his niece & nephew, Julianna & Austin Mayhew and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.  

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Ray Lyons officiating.  Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
