Obituary of Matthew Clinton Giles

We regretfully announce the passing of Matthew Clinton Giles, age 37, of Bedford, Virginia. Matthew was predeceased by his father, Russell Giles. 

Matthew is survived by his mother, Tina Giles; his two children, Kayden Giles, and Madeline Giles; his brother, Ronnie Giles as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and countless friends.

Matthew grew up in Thaxton, VA where he attended Liberty High School. He enjoyed skating, fishing, watching combat sports, the beach, and spending time with his children, family, and friends. Matthew may have had some struggles, but lived life to the fullest. He would do anything for his friends, family, and loved ones. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories he shared. Matthew’s personality was one of a kind and we are grateful for all the memories we have with him.

Our family is grateful to know that Matthew is finally at peace.

No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life ceremony will be conducted at a later date.
