Obituary of Lisa Michelle Overstreet Thornhill

Lisa Michelle Overstreet Thornhill, 49, of  Bedford, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was born on Saturday, April 7, 1973  a daughter of the late Donald Joseph Overstreet and Cathie DeLong Overstreet .  She was also preceded in death an Infant son, Gregory Wayne Overstreet, Jr.  She was a Homemaker and attended Nicopolis United Methodist Church.

 She is survived by her husband, Jack Nelson Thornhill, Jr. ; her mother, Cathie DeLong Overstreet, a son, Matthew Overstreet and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.  Lisa fought a very hard battle with cancer until the very end.

A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Nicopolis United Methodist Church with Pastor Russ Alden & Pastor Steven Kidd officiating.  Interment will follow in Nicopolis United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from  2:00 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the Service.
