Obituary of George Enlow Simmons

George Enlow Simmons, 83 of Lynch Station, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on June 4, 1939 in Cambria, PA, a son of the late George Simmons and Bertha Bouch Simmons.  He was also preceded in death by his daughters, Barbie & Anita, a grandson, William and a brother, Chuck.

He was a retired minister and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #244 & #180.  He was also a U. S. Navy veteran having served three tours in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of nearly thirty years, Janice Hudson Simmons; his sons, George, Michael & Curtis and daughters, Bethann, Phoebe & Dixie as well as twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Those wishing to make memorials in George's name are asked to consider a donation to the Huddleston Lifesaving Crew, P. O. Box 77, Huddleston, VA 24104.   

In keeping with George's wishes, no services will be held.
