Obituary of Jennifer Kay Hair

Jennifer Hair, 46, passed from this life on January 12, 2023. She graduated from Liberty High School in Bedford VA in 1994. A year later she received her Paralegal certificate from CVCC and worked as a paralegal for 6 years. She went on to become the office manager of a large construction company in Lynchburg, VA, where she made her home. She then found her career passion, caring for pets and their people. Jenni was the head Licensed Veterinary Technician and hospital manager of Gentle Care Animal Hospital for 17 years.

Jenni loved good comedians, glitter, ridiculous silly hats, whimsical toys, a good quote, reading, crocheting, counted cross stitch and training her pets.

She requested there be no service, but that the many people in her communities and villages that loved her, and that she loved so, take a moment in their lives to remember something fun and funny they had shared, perhaps a good story or a memory.

Survivors include her parents, Jeff and Mauna Hair and Jimmy and Biena Lawrence, siblings
Melissa and Michael, and a large group of relatives. She also leaves a host of wonderful people in Bedford and Lynchburg that she considered her Family. Her pet and faithful companion, Sarafina Belle, was like her own child.

Jenni felt very strongly about the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, feeling that children should not go without proper medical treatment and their Parent’s should not be over burdened with the financial responsibility of their care. If one would like to share a donation with St. Jude’s, Jenni would surely be honored.
