Obituary of George Roland Holt, Jr.

George Roland Holt Jr., 74, of Bedford, departed this life on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born on December 19, 1948, to the late George Holt Sr. & Louise W. Holt. George was also preceded in death by one sister, Deloris Gilchrist.

George was a caring, loving, and devoted father, relative, and friend that was loved by many.

He is survived by one daughter, LaTonya Chae Cameron (Joseph) in union with his former wife Gloria J. Brown, one stepdaughter, Dalerie Brown, one brother, Harry Wright (Mary), three grandchildren, Jayden Holt, James Grubb, and Tyson Grubb, one step grandchild, Keion Brown, one nephew who was very dear to him, Gary Gilchrist, a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

George requested to be cremated with no services and will be buried at Western Light Baptist Church Cemetery.
