Obituary of Ronnie Lee Lantz

Ronnie Lee Lantz, 85 of  Montvale, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.  He was born on Sunday, October 31, 1937  in Bedford County, a son of the late Harry M. Lantz  and Gladys Gray Lantz .  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Hale Lantz and son, Randal "Randy" Lantz. 

He was retired as an Iron Worker at Valley Crane & Rigging. 

He is survived by his son, David Michael Lantz; his daughter, Teresa Marie Smith; his grandchildren, Dana Guess, Allison Lee, Zachary Lantz, Wesley Smith & wife, Dakota as well as six great grandchildren and his sister, Patricia Lantz Cheek.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford  and a funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the chapel with Pastors Steve and Tracy Gordon officiating.   Interment will follow in Montvale Baptist Church Cemetery.
