David Ernest Butler, 84 of Bedford, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Wednesday, December 14, 1938, a son of the late James Butler and Mary Constante Dupont Butler. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Stefanik and a brother, Anthony Butler

David enjoyed Nascar, the outdoors and driving his 18 wheeler.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Sandra Faye Overstreet Butler; his sister, Elaine Rose and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Overstreet Family Cemetery with Pastor Austin Hull officiating.
