William Henry Woodford, 70 of Huddleston, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1940 in Bedford County, a son of the late Joel Nathaniel Woodford and Lillie Creasey Woodford . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 4 brothers, Samuel, Bernard, Nelson and Melvin. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his sisters, Dorothy Woodford of Huddleston and Catherine W. Blankenship of Campbell County. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 28, 2011 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston
