Obituary of Judy Gayle Presley Gibson

Judy Gayle Presley Gibson, 74, of Roanoke, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 13, 2023.  She was born on Tuesday, September 14, 1948 to the late Joseph Presley & Elsie McPherson Presley.  Judy is also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Gibson, Sr.; companion of 23 years, Joseph W. Harrison; daughter, Melanie Dawn Gibson; grandson, Johnathan Cody Gibson; sisters, Helen Lois Pollard & Betty Joe Webster; brother, Don Presley.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Gibson, Jr. (Jessica Redman); daughter, Amanda Gibson (Michael Dillon); grandchildren, Kayla Gibson, Kyler Tyree, Karlie Gibson, Kasey Gibson, Karissa Gibson, Joseph Moore, Jr. & Jaythan Gibson; brother, Kenneth Presley; nieces & nephew, Linda Thompson, Alice Kaye Hicks & Larry Pollard; sisters-in-law, Debbie Dooley, Ann Thomason & Donna Widner; brothers-in-law, Joe Gibson & Bobby Gibson as well as many great nieces & nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford on Thursday, May 18, 2023 with a good friend, Able speaking.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home.
