Obituary of Faith Renee Wilson

Faith Renee Wilson,21, of Moneta, went peacefully to be with her creator and Lord on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Frank Wilson & maternal grandmother, Dorothy Hurt.

Faith was a God sent special angel to this earth.  She loved her rocking chair, music and musical toys.

She will be greatly missed by her father & mother, Danny & Sylvia Wilson; sister, Rhonda Ellis (Mickey); brother, Kirk Wilson & fiance, Sarah; niece, Carmen Ellis; nephews, Carter & Langston Ellis, Andy Wilson; paternal grandmother, Betty Wilson Messer; aunts, Pat Harris (Larry), Lynn Witt (Chucky), Gloria Morgan (Dennis); uncle; Doug Wilson (Tammy), Dexter Hurt (Linda); maternal grandfather, Alfred Hurt; as well as many cousins & special friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Greg Rogers officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
