Garry Clark Davis, 72, our loving father, Pap Pap and special love, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023. He was born on Monday, March 19, 1951 to the late John “Jack” Raymond Davis & Elinor Braddock Davis. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn & Isabelle Braddock, Ray & Anna Davis.

Garry loved golfing, fishing, tennis, coaching and all things Pittsburgh. He also loved singing in the church choir. Garry was retired from FedEx after 28 years of service.

He is survived by his fiancè, Linda Key; sons, Ben & Wesley Davis; daughter, Morgan Dooley (Cody); grandson, Clint Dooley; brother, Glenn Davis (Ruth) as well as numerous other family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL, 33607.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Darryl Crim officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
