Obituary of Daniel Wayne Sink

Daniel Wayne Sink, 69, of Moneta, marched triumphantly into Heaven early Saturday morning, June 24^th, 2023, after a courageous hard-fought battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Dan was predeceased by his father, Charlie Edward Sink.

Dan was a retired graphic designer and more recently retired from Apple and Village Markets.

Dan leaves behind his loving mother, Madeline Jones Sink; his devoted and loving sisters, Sally and brother-in-law, Tom, Cathy, Brenda Charlene and brother-in-law, Tim, Becky and brother-in-law, Jay; brother, Keith and sister-in-law, Andrea;  also surviving are nieces, Brooke and Lillian; nephews, Jesse and wife, Ashley, Charlie and Micah; great-nephew, Jesse; many very special friends that include JD, Connie, Aubrey, Sharon, Jason and Erin and their children, Lily and Rose, and his fur baby, Shadow. 

Dan's family wishes to “thank” Pastor Steve Paisley of Mount Ivy Christian Church Moneta, Va., also special “thanks” to Drs Firas El Chaer and Dr. Karen Ballen, UVA Hematology/ Oncology, special “thanks” also to Dr. Cecilla MacCallum and entire staff at Alan Pearson Cancer Center and Dawson House of Lynchburg, Va. Our thanks also to Autumn Care of Altavista for their compassionate care during this difficult time. In keeping with Dan's wishes, A Celebration of Life Service will be private.
