I felt blessed to have known Bill. He lifted my spirit on many occasions. Working with him at Bedford Baptist wasn't work at all because he always had a lifting since of humor and cared about the people around him. He loved his wife Karen, his family and friends, in fact maybe you could say he loved all people. I am honored to have known him and remember one of his many comments showing his care for others like, "who hasn't made mistakes in their past". He loved the Lord and had a great compassion for Bedford Baptist Church! We know that he is in heaven our Lord.

From the very first time I met Bill May, I knew he was special! With his outgoing crazy personality, his wit and charm, his ability to make immediate friends-I always looked forward to seeing him!! He, together with Eddie Reynolds, were tag team comedians. They are together now in heaven creating laughter, joy, and happiness and feeling no pain. We really can’t find the words to express our love for Bill. The four of us, Bill, Karen, Michele and I did so much together the last 15 years, it’s hard to quantify with these few pictures. We laughed so hard sometimes we almost cried. We talked about everything. Fishing, biking, camping, the problems with the world, everything. He was a true friend and we’ll never have another like him and our hearts are heavy with the grief of his passing. We hope for his family and friends one day will find peace with his passing with so many good memories of a life well lived. And he lived like no other.
